Honestly, the Upper East Side brings out my softer, more indulgent side it just has that effortless charm I can’t resist. If I were planning the perfect day for us, it would go something like this:

First stop: we ease into things with a wander through The Met or slip into a quieter gallery at The Frick. There’s something about those calm, echoing rooms that makes conversation feel a little more intimate… and gives us plenty of excuses to stand close.

After that, we sneak over to The Mark or The Carlyle for a quick break, maybe a drink, maybe just a moment to chill and enjoy the “you and me” energy before the evening really starts.

Dinner: here’s where it gets fun.
If we want something sexy and intimate, we go to Sushi Noz the omakase is slow, intentional, and kind of hypnotic.
If we’re in the mood for something polished and classic, Daniel never misses.
Feeling a little nostalgic? Le Veau d’Or is like stepping into an old Paris film, and I kind of love that.
Or, if we want cozy and romantic, King’s Carriage House gives us candlelight and an excuse to linger over dessert.
And the nightcap: we end up at Bemelmans Bar, obviously. A final cocktail under those warm, whimsical murals… it’s the kind of place where you don’t really want the night to end.

My dream date starts with Afternoon Tea at the Baccarat Hotel, crystal sparkle, hushed elegance, and the perfect setting to flirt between sips. From there, we slip back to our suite to get dressed up because the night ahead calls for a little black-tie energy.

Then we head to a private box at Carnegie Hall, or drift across the plaza to Lincoln Center for the New York Philharmonic. If the mood is right, we could trade symphonies for something even more dramatic and step into the world of opera or ballet. And if we want to keep the night going, a stop inside the David Geffen Hall private lounges for a glass of champagne feels like a deliciously exclusive detour.
Dinner is where the real temptation begins.
I’ll always say yes to the tasting menu at Per Se it’s pure art. Marea brings coastal Italian decadence and that slow-burn romantic vibe. But if we want something more sleek and slightly sexy, Peak at Hudson Yards gives us sky-high views and a dining room that glows at night. And for a more relaxed but still indulgent stop, Bar Masa has rare spirits and their elegant à la carte dishes that feel anything but casual.
And because the night should never end too soon, we could end up at the Aman Jazz Club, tucked away in a moody, candlelit corner with live music humming around us. Or, if the skyline is calling, we slip up to The Empire Rooftop for one last drink with the city glittering beneath us.

It’s the kind of night that unfolds slowly, luxuriously full of art, music, views, and the kind of chemistry that makes the West Side feel like it was made just for us.

Afterward, the night turns moodier. We slip into The Smyth’s lounge, Silver Lining, or disappear into the hidden jazz room at The Django, plush seats, dim lights, live music, and the kind of space where getting lost in each other feels inevitable.
